CE Course Description

Pennsylvania has the third highest number of elderly in the US—second only to California and Florida. And that number is growing—along with a demand for long-term care. Still, long-term care isn’t easy to pay for. It’s not usually covered by Medicare or traditional health insurance plans. Long-term care insurance is designed to fill the gaps in coverage, but even this can run out—leaving Pennsylvanians vulnerable to sacrificing valuable assets such as a home in order to pay for care.

Pennsylvania’s Medicaid Long-Term Care program is designed to help Pennsylvania’s seniors protect their assets. It allows qualifying insureds to tap into Medicaid funds to help them preserve major assets as they pay for long-term care. This course provides you with an in-depth look at the PA Medicaid LTC program—allowing you to provide the most up-to-date information to your clients.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • An overview of Medicaid.
  • Pennsylvania’s Long-Term Care Partnership program.
  • LTC and “Qualified Partnership” policies.
  • Medicaid eligibility.
  • The Medicaid Estate Recovery program.

Online education makes fulfilling Pennsylvania’s insurance continuing education requirements easy and convenient. Receive this course in online format—and study on your own time, without compromising your busy schedule. Order this course today and don’t wait to get started.
