CE Course Description

Accidents and injuries are difficult to predict—and damage awards can be astronomical. Because of this, general liability insurance is perhaps the most important line of commercial insurance a business can purchase. It protects your business clients from multi-million dollar judgments that could seriously disrupt, if not completely bankrupt, company operations.

As an insurance agent selling commercial general liability insurance, you play a key role in your business customers’ first-line defense against crippling accident and injury lawsuits in today’s litigious environment. Because general liability insurance is so broad, exclusions, riders, and other stipulations are key in tailoring coverage to each client. This insurance CE course will give you a detailed understanding of the exclusions and stipulations possible in general liability contracts, and help you build the comprehensive knowledge base you need to provide expert consultation on commercial general liability insurance. Covered topics include:

  • An overview of Commercial General Liability policies.
  • Typical policy exclusions and riders.
  • Policy definitions and conditions.
  • Defining an insured.
  • Coverage A, B, and C exclusions.
  • Endorsements and other coverage forms.

This insurance continuing education course is offered in convenient online format. Download the course immediately after purchase, study at your convenience, and receive your test results immediately if this option is permitted in your state. With online insurance CE, you can enhance your insurance practice and earn continuing education credits easily, quickly, and conveniently.
